On April 3rd 2001, part time artist Peter Hemming arrived on the Greek island of Kefalonia for what was to be a six month painting holiday, a relaxing summer in the sun! His friends told him, 'Peter you will be living the dream'.
He did however, stay a little longer than that summer and it wasn't a dream. He overcame the obstacles of Greek bureaucracy, stumbled through the minefield of the unforgiving language and embraced the friendship and warmth offered him by the Kefalonian people. Motivated by his motto 'Everything is Possible', it wasn't long before his painting holiday, the so called 'dream', became a successful full time reality.
'If you think you can't, you won't; if you believe you can, you will'. The author.
