I decided to dispense with the hyperlinked index as that method is prohibitively time consuming. Instead, I have provided a list of names at the front of the book. The Search Word feature in Kindle can be utilized to find these names in the body of the book.
I have copied community news, marriages, births and deaths from the newspaper. If family connections were mentioned in the articles, it was included in this book. Unnecessary verbiage has not been included, although I attempted to keep the wording as close to the original as I could.
Automobiles were still a fairly new invention in 1928 and people referred to a trip in a car as motoring to or motoring from someplace.
Use of a madstone for treating people who had been exposed to hydrophobia was waning in popularity due to the Pasture treatment.
