Northrepps Grandchildren

Northrepps is a country house, near Cromer, Norfolk. It has been used by members of the Barclays, Buxton, Gurney, Hoare and other well-known families. Verily Anderson describes life as a young family member during 20th Century and follows the history of the place and the people who included many famous names: Elizabeth Fry, William Wilberforce, and countless Members of Parliament, bankers and many others. It is a valuable social history showing the lives led by an influential English family, with strong Quaker connections.
