5.0 out of 5 stars A Cozy And Fun Read, February 19, 2013 By L.I. LINDA (LI NY)
This book reads like a P.B.S. television mystery series. I am an Anglophile and enjoyed every page. I highly recommend it to lovers of all things British.
A great surprise, March 14, 2013 By Bookworm -this book was a wonderful surprise. Lots of charming characters that you will fall in love with--whether they are good guys or bad. The setting is fabulous--you feel right at home in the beautiful homes and their gorgeous surroundings in England. This is a terrific page-turner that you won't be able to put down.
A cozy read, February 18, 2013 - By Tricia (Los Gatos, CA) - I can't resist a baffling murder on a foggy night on an English estate in the 1940's. Add a little romance, a handsome ex-inspector with a curious past, a spunky young lady looking for clues and a mansion full of suspects. It was an enjoyable read and I hope Jeremy and Rachel will have more mysteries to solve in the future.
Fantastic and well written, 19 Jan 2013 -By Forensic 321 (Amazon UK)- This is one of the better murder mysteries I have read in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque narration.
Great English manor house mystery!!, February 16, 2013 By David Malmberg - Really enjoyed it! Reminded me of Agatha Christie at her best.
Enjoyable Christie like caper. 18 Jan 2013 By G Moore "Neferankh" (Edinburgh, Scotland) (Amazon UK) - Highly enjoyable country house murder. Believable characters and plenty of plot twists and turns.
Murder in the English countryside, February 12, 2013 By Mo - This was just pure fun. The mysterious murder was eventually solved, with many twists and turns. I enjoyed reading this one. The author took you through the villages and small towns, and through the murder, too. I was sad it was over, and that is how I like to feel about a book.
A Great First Novel, January 27, 2013 By Anita Nelam - If you enjoy the more modern "British Cozy" I encourage you to select this book.
