More than Conquerors (Previously for What Its Worth)

Life is not a dress rehearsal. We only get one shot at it. Most people are trying to arrive safely at death, but Jesus offers a better way. Do you want the adventure of living, or will you settle for the safety of existing? Are you itching for a deeper and rawer expression of following Jesus? What does radical living look like in the 21st century? Aren’t we meant to be dangerous people, wide-eyed radicals, dreamers and visionaries? Or should we just resign ourselves to a sanitized, respectable middle-class Christianity? More than Conquerors is a call to radical discipleship. Although it describes the life of faith as an exciting adventure, it also warns us that to be an authentic follower of Jesus involves rejecting the comfortable cross of contemporary Western Christianity. This is the only way to experience life to the full – which is the reason we were created!
