Zac is investigating Metamorphosis, a patent dispute between rival, octogenarian inventors. Missing grandson, Neville, provides the clue, but he's flown the nest. Zac is also pursuing the missing heir to the Porter fortune. Like always, it leads to some 'interesting and unexpected' sexual encounters and he meets George!
Elizabeth's upgrade of the agency continues unabated and Mrs Chan is poorly, resulting in a trip to the vet, and the removal of a dongle 'in the wrong port' brings more than tears to her eyes. It all ends pretty well, especially for Zac, who gets a holiday, a boyfriend and a nice little payoff from Matt's firm.
Metamorphosis follows Chrysalis', our introduction to Zac and his slightly 'tongue in cheek' world. This case file is followed by case file 3, Transmutation. There are twelve case files in series 1. And if you can’t wait for the first twelve cases to appear individually, then Jury’s Out is also available – Jury’s Out is the complete first series.
