A life of skiing, snow and sunshine in the French Alps. That was what one British couple had in mind when they gave up the 9 – 5 grind to run a ski chalet in Chamonix. With their toddler in tow, they sold everything and headed off for a better life.
But they soon realised they had swopped one grind for another, and while the view was far better from their chocolate-box chalet window, they rarely made it outdoors to enjoy it.
