After Abigail's dad was killed abroad whilst serving his country, her life is turned upside down when her mum decides to return to her home country, Canada. Where they will be living with Abigail's grandparents in the hope that they can start afresh.
But Abigail doesn't want to go, it means she will have to give up the pony she rides and leave her friends behind. Life in Canada will be boring and cold, or so she thinks. What Abigail doesn't realise is her grandparents own a farm and they've organised a surprise for her. Will this be enough to bring her out of the depression she's fallen into and will she be able to once again look forward to a new future?
