This book is the first book of poetry I wrote as a youth. It contains my thoughts and feelings about life and growing up.

**Undesired Desires**
The little boy has gone
The man has replaced the giddy
All his passions burn brightly
The fervor of youth is strong
His desire is outshone by none
None, but his own
Next, when comes the day
He leads the dawn to fill the sky,
To overtake them that hide
To bring…
Bring day dawn upon the faceless
**The Beast in the dark**
There is a beast
Lying in the shadows
Lacing its tentacles into the night
Feeding off the fear
The Hatred
And the loathing of mankind
Slowly drawing all to its gaping maw
None escape his grasp
None see his shadow
But all feel his power
Somewhere deep inside us all lies a gaping hole
Containing The Beast in the dark…
**True Blue**
I decided today
That I will be famous
That I will be the star of many shows
Determined not to fail or falter
I will be true
Through and Through
**Taking Names**
Too often are these three misused
To anger
To rashness
Whether it be
The Smart of the Daft alike
Take the name
That saved us all
