Table Talk
If we remember the big occasions, the happiest memories, food will be a feature more often than not. Relaxing around a table groaning with the best dishes is a great way to celebrate.
Jesus and His disciples were no different. They loved to get together to eat and drink with their Lord. So much so, they were noted for it – and heavily criticised. So why did Jesus do it? It wasn't to annoy the Pharisees – it was because this kind of event mattered. It mattered than and it matters now, and there is much for us to learn from Jesus and His table talk.
