This book contains recipes from Messina and Trapani Provinces in Sicily that were handed down by my paternal and maternal grandparents to my mother, Josephine Certo and aunts, primarily Margaret Serianni, and passed on to me as I helped them prepare meals in their kitchens as a child. I am passing them on to you, the reader, to pass these traditions on to another generation.
