(Essential life skills learning through the beautiful game of soccer, in this rhyming story book series, for boys and girls of the 6-10 age groups)
This is the first book in the series of 6 books. Each book advances onto the next in similar form to martial arts grades. (White through to black) There is a quick quiz at the end of the book to test learning.
Parents are encouraged to be interactive with the child reader and explain the life skill concepts to them.
By understanding the life skill concepts in book 1, the children will learn and pass their White Level 1 Junior Soccer Stars award before moving on to book 2.
In book 1, The beginning, Katie and Finn join Rico and Lara in Coach Dan’s soccer team. They learn from Coach Dan’s encouraging ways and love the game of soccer. Coach Dan introduces the children to his unique method of soccer coaching, where taking part, giving maximum effort and good sportsmanship is the key to success. Through positive reinforcement, Coach Dan improves his players, both on and off the field, learning new positive life skills in a fun way.
This book aims to provide child readers and parents with good solid life skills that the kids can put into their daily lives. All this is communicated through the world’s favourite game of soccer.
