Junior Dragster Dreams: How Sam Found His Own Ride

Sam McCormick is an unhappy ten year old who disappears in the middle of the night along with his best friend, Chloe. Part of the reason Sam and Chloe sneak off is because earlier in the day Sam managed to enact some revenge against Truman, the class bully who routinely beats Sam up. The next day -- sixty miles away from their homes -- Sam and Chloe get lost while taking an early morning walk. And they discover a place that leads them to uncover deeply held family secrets. More trouble looms on the horizon, but Sam, Chloe and even Truman end up doing something they'd never even dreamed was possible.
