John L. agrees to hear more of Mr X’s crazy story, which is to fight for him and become a Universal Champion in outer space. He is skeptical but willing to humor him. He gets more than he bargained for when he is whisked away from his home and brought aboard Mr. X’s spaceship. Mr. X is really MREX, an intergalactic fight manager, who wants John L Sullivan to fight for him. John agrees and meets his new trainer, Buque, a scarred former fighter, and learns some more of the master plan.
