Joe Profaci: Jukebox Rackets and Loan Sharking

Joe Profaci's life ended with his crime organization enmeshed in a fight to the death with its rival the Gallo Brothers gang. Formerly a minion of Profaci, the Gallo's tired of working for their former boss and sought their independence in the crime syndicates. At stake were the lucrative loan sharking businesses, oil importing concerns, and the very profitable jukebox rackets controlled by the Profaci Mafia gang. My book looks closely at the war between the Gallos and the Profacis as well as U.S. Justice Department efforts to denaturalize and eventually deport Joseph Profaci.
