Murder, Inc. was a murder for hire outfit that operated in Brooklyn from the late 1920s until the 1940s. Lots of the murders involving the gang dealt with the elimination of "small fry". However there were many others which rid Mafia notables like garment industry racketeer Louis Lepke Buchalter of enemies who threatened to turn state's evidence. Lucky Luciano hired hitmen who worked for Murder, Inc. Jacob "Jack" Drucker was employed by the brutal gang which severed victims heads after stabbing them with ice picks. It was on Drucker's Sullivan County farm that the bodies of Murder, Inc.'s opponents were buried in quick lime during the 1930s.
