Edition 2.
This book is the result of approximately 30 years of original, independent, meticulous and ground-breaking pure research performed by the author in the field of artificial intelligence. It is not possible to read the book once or even a few times and understand all of my work. To understand my work fully, would probably require a commitment equivalent to that of a targeted 4 year degree course. This book covers the main aspects of this work including an introduction to my revolutionary Relative Quaternary Fractal Computation Theory. For readers who wish to learn more about Relative Quaternary Fractal Computation Theory, more details are provided in my other publications: 'The Fractal Hyper Computer', 'Studies in Fractal Computation Theory. Part 1: Fractal Vision.' and my patent at: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/20160004958.pdf
The author has successfully reverse-engineered natural language to unlock the secrets of the mind. These are put forward in a thesis and documented in precise detail in this book. This thesis forms the theoretical foundation for my revolutionary fractal computer Patent Pending.
The thesis starts from first principles and builds these to form advanced concepts that can be used to create powerful fractal machines. The work encompasses learning contexts, expert contexts, fuzzy sets, spirals, double helix structures, sequencing, definition threads, pairs, concurrence, interfaces, transformation and normalization. How do all of these combine to form intelligent machines? You will need to read the book.
What are the similarities with DNA? Is the higher level organizing principle of a thought meme the double helix?
"It is fascinating to see how a system of thought that is built to represent language and human thought based on the idea of concurrence leads to a double helix DNA like structure. There is no way to mistake this outcome. Each step of my reasoning can be verified by the reader by stepping though this thesis from the first premise of concurrency to the double helix structure. This model now for the first time provides a provable link between these two apparently unrelated ideas. Time will tell if my theories are the right answer."
"Natural language comprehension is arguably one of the most significant achievements of my thesis.... My theory is not some vague notion that language can be somehow encoded in DNA form, I show how it is actually done! My thesis presents a complete fractal mechanism for natural language representation and comprehension using relative quaternary fractal encoding. The knowledge that language can be encoded in DNA form should blow the whole debate about plasticity wide open. If language can be encoded in the genome, then why not any other patterns, such as patterns of behavior?"
Extending this further leads to the notion that computational primitives for language, behavior, vision, hearing, thought, cognition and many many other functions can be encoded in the genome. Extending this line even further to its ultimate conclusion, would suggest that what makes us human, our personalities and even what makes us unique, may in large part be attributable to the contents of the noncoding DNA. In this context, the belief that such enormous complexity starts life each time as a blank slate is clearly wrong.
Are these the blueprints for a real working artificial human brain? Please read the book to find out. Specific examples are included. Enjoy :)
