Greetings, dear reader, and thank you for dedicating the time to read my building guide! I am sure that you are eager to create awesome buildings, but I would like to take a moment of your time to talk about this eBook. You need to know that I won’t teach you how to build by just presenting you with a bunch of blueprints. Instead, my goal is to help you learn advanced design principles so that you can allow your own imagination to grow outside its current boundaries and as such you will learn how to build bigger and smarter!
For many people the coolest thing about whole gaming experience is that it gives you a feeling of ownership. You make your own stuff - your own home, city, temple, fortress, mansion - heck, you can even build your own Empire! And, of course, you want your stuff to be better than your mate’s stuff. That’s probably why you’ve clicked onto this e-book.
All of the buildings presented in this eBook will be shown step by step and you will be able to see exactly how they are created. But more importantly, I will also aim to show you the full thinking process behind the patterns that I use. For convenience sake I created all of these buildings in creative mode, but I will include a list of resources (and their alternatives) in case you want to make them legitimately in survival mode. The builds shown here are rather cool and pretty fun to make on a multiplayer server – so feel free to get your friends in on the project!
