    About

The aim of this book is to pass on some handy tips that Rob has gathered over the years, letting you have a productive plot, with as little effort as possible. No matter if you have your own smallholding, garden, balcony or just a windowsill, there are tips and tricks that you can use to make the most of your space.
One of the easiest, and most natural ways to help you have a healthy plot, is to use certain plants to your advantage. This book gives you all the tips and tricks to get the most out of companion planting and shows you how to make beneficial sprays.
Rob won the BBC2 series 'The Big Allotment Challenge'.
Normally, you'll find him jetting around the world for his day job, he's cabin crew for a well known, long haul airline. However, when he's back on the ground, his hands are well and truly in the dirt.
Rob grew up gardening, he used to help his granddad on his veg patch as a small boy, catching butterflies with an old fishing net. He now has two allotments near his home, just outside Sheffield, and he's passing his growing knowledge onto his niece and nephew.
