Fliss Knight hasn’t seen her ex-husband Seth for ten years, so when she discovers he is now working as a vet at the New York clinic she uses regularly for her dog walking business, she panics. When Fliss and her identical twin Harriet receive word that their elderly grandmother has had an accident and is in need of help, Fliss grabs the chance to escape Manhattan for the Hamptons.
The first person she meets on her arrival is Seth. Reluctant to confront the issues in their past, Fliss pretends to be her sister. But how long can Fliss keep up the ruse when Seth wants to talk to “Harriet” about why he and Fliss fell apart…and how he can win her back?
