Grandpa's Farm Growing Fruit is a picture book about growing, picking, selling, sharing, and making enticing dishes from fruit. Michael narrates the book inviting children to identify and name fruits shown in vivid colors. The book is the second in a series. Grandpa's Farm Growing Vegetables is the first in a series about farm life. Teachers and parents are able to teach children about the various fruits presented, discuss health benefits and nutrition, and explain the many possibilities for fruit, both eating and drinking juice. Also, children can practice identifying colors and learning to read words. Eating fruits provide many health benefits and should be encouraged at an early age.
