A review and episode guide for the old-time radio Western that aired on CBS radio in 1958. This compelling and intelligent series starred John Dehner as J.B. Kendall, a reporter for the London Times who traveled the West in search of human interest stories. Created and directed by Antony Ellis (who also wrote the majority of the episodes), Frontier Gentleman was one of the finest Westerns produced during the Golden Age of Radio. Its format allowed for a wide variety of stories, including action-oriented tales, tragedies, comedies and quiet character studies. Some of Old-Time Radio's finest actors appeared in the supporting roles.
