Hi, my name is Becki Fitzwilliam and I want to thank you for choosing my book, Free Yourself from Clutter with EFT: Resources and Tapping Scripts to Help YOU Reclaim YOUR Home from Clutter!
If you have a problem with clutter around your home, office, car or garage, don’t worry, you’re not alone. So many of us struggle to keep our homes and their stuff under control. You may have accumulated a lifetime of belongings, precious possessions and those you’d like to be free of but for some reason, you’re holding back.
It is those reasons that EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques can really help us to conquer. But dealing with the causes of clutter, we can more effectively dispose of it.
Why do you have so much stuff?
Was it because, like me, you are loathe to throw anything away in case you might need it? That having less stuff around makes you feel poorer? I used to buy bag-loads of clothes and bits and pieces from thrift shops because I was really struggling financially and it made me feel like I had lots of things. But it was completely false economy. Whenever I wore a piece of that clothing I felt poor because it was old or just second-hand. Now, I love browsing vintage shops and picking up unique pieces, but I don’t do it through a feeling of need.
It was hard to get rid of all those knick-knacks I had collected because I felt bereft in a house with minimal furniture and few lovely things. At least at yard sales and thrift shops I could pick up a few bargains; sometimes a pretty vase or some attractive mugs. But the things seemed to multiply by themselves! My vases seemed to be breeding in the cupboard and suddenly there was stuff everywhere!
I also found it really hard to establish systems to keep my stuff organized efficiently. But with the help of EFT, I managed to release my feeling that I didn’t deserve a neat and orderly house and finally get some effective storage in place which made it a pleasure to put things back where they belonged.
I was introduced to EFT by a friend who was a counsellor. She thought it would help me and she was right! At the time I needed help with self-confidence and self-esteem so that was all we were tapping on, but as I began to feel better about myself, I noticed improvements in other areas of my life, including the state of my home! I was delighted! I began to tap more earnestly on the clutter and began to think about what emotions or thoughts could be behind it and I was amazed to find that it became easier and easier to deal with the piles of papers, abundant mugs, ancient newspapers and magazines, and loads of old clothes I hadn’t worn in months.
If you have not been introduced to EFT before it may seem like a weird concept. You might not believe it could work and the interesting thing is, it doesn’t matter. It is painless, free, can be done anywhere and has no nasty side-effects. Heck, even if you don’t believe it can work, what have you got to lose? Only your clutter, I’d say!
Give EFT a try today and watch the clutter melt away.
Wishing you a clutter-free home and life,
Becki
