In the summer of 2011 Liam Bailey joins the Sokolov Academy of Ballet, located in a small town in Russia. Liam finds that he is irresistibly drawn to Anya Petronva, the enigmatic scion and principal of the academy.
To the fanciful young Liam, Anya seems to be the human embodiment of the elements of nature i.e. air, water, fire, earth and ether. Offended by Liam’s claims that man is superior to nature, Anya decides to teach Liam a lesson. She hypnotizes him into behaving and eventually transforming into a female. Gradually, Liam discovers that he has turned into a woman. He enacts the role of Princess Odette instead of that of Prince Siegfried at the opening night of the Swan Lake ballet.
But Anya’s designs go way beyond making Liam play Odette’s part. What does Anya have in store for Liam? Will Anya’s deep dark past cast a shadow over Liam’s future?
