For Whom the Roses Grow

Joanna "Jo" Hart thought that she was simply moving from her little town of Omaha, Nebraska to St. Louis in 1905 to take a job as a nurse for the wealthy Cordelia Anderson. She soon discovers, however, that working for a mysterious, beautiful woman will do more for the wonders of the heart than it will her wallet. Things begin to spiral out of control when Jo realizes that her feelings for Mrs. Anderson run much deeper than simply mistress and employee, and she finds herself trying to find her new place in Mrs. Anderson's world.
