Lizzie Borden suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy which caused her to have 'funny spells' when she lost all control. Those spells became more frequent during the hot steamy summer of 1892. The temperature was rising and inside the Borden House extreme evil was boiling over. Lizzie Borden's sister and father were both hacked to death with an axe.
