When her parents unexpectedly divorce, teenager Allison Shaw’s life is turned upside down. An athletic fifteen-year-old, Allison has rarely obsessed about her looks; however, after her mom marries successful plastic surgeon Dr. Conrad Dunn, Allison begins to feel self-conscious about her appearance. It’s especially hard not to feel like an ugly duckling once she moves into Dr. Dunn’s Bel Air home and begins to attend school with classmates who have already been under her stepdad’s knife.
As her sixteenth birthday draws near, a series of murders put the community on edge. Allison barely has time to worry about the horrifying Frankenstein Killer as she reluctantly prepares to receive her birthday gift from Dr. Dunn—breast implants. After surgery, Allison is shocked when she discovers a photo of Dr. Dunn’s late first wife, the beautiful Margot, to whom she now bears an uncanny resemblance. Further digging into her stepdad’s past begins to unearth some terrifying truths, but will anyone believe her?
