Erine Pershings is a typical 10 year old girl from a military family. When her parents get transferred to Washington, DC, Erine thinks that this will be a move just like any other.
This move, however, is anything but ordinary!
On her first day at the prestigious Circe and Io school she encounters a mysterious stranger who thinks she has a lot to learn about history. Soon, she is sent back in time to Ancient Athens in 458BCE. She arrives during the famed theater festival, the City Dionysia, where the likes of Sophocles and Aeschylus are competing. Her enjoyment of the theater is short lived, however. The night before the festival begins a violent theft threatens to change history and only Erine can stop the thieves and recover the golden lyre.
Will she be able to save the festival and will she ever be able to return home?
