The manual is for people who have not started using the existing device yet though they've already got CCNA. This manual contains enough photos and images for you to understand the instructions and contents with relevance to your device without overloading you with non essential information that may cause confusion. I would be very happy if this manual allows users to better understand and utilize their device.

The exercise
Mr. H lives in North Kanto area and is thinking about starting an educational business. He is planning to use one of the rooms as a classroom and use the Internet as a learning tool at times. However, the network has not been constructed yet, and he is planning to do so now. The current situation and the required conditions are as follows.
Current Situation:
A global IP address [xxx.yyy.zzz.ccc] has been obtained from the provider. A secondhand router and a switch have been gifted by a friend. There are two LAN ports on the router and 24 LAN ports on the switch.
Requirements:
We will think about how to accomplish the required conditions below.
・Up to 20 students are expected to attend
・Each student will bring his/her own laptop and will be seated where he/she wants
・The security between the instructor and the students will be maintained by separating the network
・Instructors can access the students’ network (but not from students to instructors)
・Establish a file server for the use of distributing materials and allow access to students at times
・Access permission to the file server will be enabled for the instructors to operate remotely
〜
From each of these prerequisites,
Router
・Expecting up to 20 students → Address range will suffice with /27.
・Each student will bring their own laptop and will be seated where they want → Assign automatic IP addresses using DHCP
Switch
・The security between the instructor and the students will be maintained by separating the network → separate the network with subnetwork, and introduce VLAN in addition.
・Instructors can access the students’ network (but not from students to instructors) → ....
