Prepositions and Modal verbs
Prepositions are what I often call small words to my students and they always look back at me in confusion. It was not that they didn't understand these words, but how to use them.
And still today with my online students from Russia to China and all places in between, no matter where in the world they are my students often struggle to use or remember to use prepositions.
I think the reason for this is that they are used in English in so many different ways. So let's see if my little grammar book #5 can help you a little.
Are you finding English grammar difficult to understand? If so then you are not alone, I have had many students with the same difficulty.
One way I taught my students grammar was just one item at a time. Just one little piece of grammar such as what is a "noun"? then what is a "verb"?, then how we use them.
That's what my series of grammar books do. I have explained in simple words what parts of English grammar do and how you can learn and use them, quickly.
In English grammar #5 you will learn about...
- Prepositions of time
- Prepositions of place
- Adjectives and prepositions
- Verbs and Prepositions
- Modal Verbs
- Modal Verbs of Probability
- Modal verbs of ability
- Modal Verbs of Obligation
- Could have, should have, would have
