    About

Glenda has had cerebral palsy - affecting her ability to walk and to talk - since birth. However, while still young, she found her communication disorder was far more disabling and isolating than her physical disability.

Despite years of speech therapy, which, at times, involved rather bizarre practices, she carried around the burdensome label "functionally non-verbal". That was until she realized she could redefine how she saw herself and how she presented herself to the world. Experimenting with various communication technology led her to the most unexpected and yet the most ironically delicious career choice.

How does she now define herself? Which ubiquitous device, paired with an AAC app, has made possible becoming a professional motivational speaker? What message is she destined to become known for?
