Echoes of Light is the product of wanderlust, and a search for wisdom.
The pages within contain a compilation of instant film photographs
and words gathered during 8 weeks of living and traveling in a van and
truck through Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alberta, Montana,
Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah.
The premise of this project was to capture and share the essence of traveling.
Aside from places we go, the things we see, or the great cups of coffee
we have while traveling - it’s the people that we meet along the way who
create the experiences that really change us.
As we encountered and shared experiences with intriguing individuals
throughout our travels, we asked them to share one piece of wisdom,
advice, or insightful knowledge with us. To accompany their words, we
also shot an instant film portrait of them in that moment. Additionally,
we have included photographs, thoughts, and selected stories from our travels.
