Devorahrella is the modern day Jewish version of the Cinderella fairy tale. The heroine of the story is a pre-med student who attends
the Purim masquerade ball to find her soulmate and to win scholarship money for medical school. There is a Jewish Bubbe instead of a fairly
godmother, Shabbat candlesticks instead of a magic wand, and a toe ring instead of a slipper. Technology is sprinkled throughout the
book to bring the story into modern times.
