This is the honest and frank autobiography of one of the heroes of Llanelli, Wales and Lions rugby, Delme Thomas. He reached the pinnacle with his club, country, and internationally, over a 15-year playing career. He was chosen to be part of the Lions tour in 1966, despite not yet being capped by Wales. He was also captain of Llanelli, and led them to a famous victory against the All Blacks at Stradey Park in 1972. He became well known in the rugby world, gaining everyone's respect in the field - and that respect continues to this day. Giving up his playing career was not an easy decision, and he suffered from depression for a period afterwards. Only now, in this memoir, is he able to remind us of his glorious career.
