Since the revelation of the Qur’an, Aisha has been accused of being a victim, people have slandered her and many have made accusations against her. The first obvious notion is that she married at a young age and the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and we ask was she really that young? Second is the slander she faced during the time of the Prophet and third, the accusations made by those who reject the first three Caliphs because of her being in opposition to the fourth Caliph. These accusations are all unjust and uncalled for.
