Farmer Hobbs had lots of pigs but one pig was different from all the other pigs.
David din't know why he was different but he knew there had to be a reason. And the day Farmer Hobbs cleared out his attic was the day he discovered why.
From that day on while all the other pigs did nothing but wallow in the mud all day...... David played football.
David would play football all day long, he even played football in his sleep, every night he would crawl into bed exhausted and dream of playing for his team the great Hamchester Rovers.... But could his dream come true.
Atholl McDonald was born in Glasgow in 1961, when he was a small boy his family moved to London where he stills lives with his wife Sarah, his two sons and two dogs. Atholl illustrated a number of children's books but "David Bacon" is his debut as both an author and Illustrator.
