“Dalla Padella into the Fire” is bilingual like its predecessors, “Dialogues from/dal Ghetto” and “The Dice that are Hidden”. It is about how the author continues to live at St. Marguerite Manor in Calgary, and how the experience affects him mentally, physically and emotionally. English and the Italian languages are used herein liberally. It is not a direct monolingual translation of either.
