    About

Millets are small-seeded grasses that are hardy. These crops grow well on farm lands that are rainfed and exposed to droughts. Millets are one of the oldest foods known to humans and possibly the first cereal grain used for domestic purposes. Millets are also unique due to their short growing season. The crops can be harvested in as little as 65 days from sowing. Millets, when processed and stored properly, can be good and usable even up to two years. Millets are good sources of minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium. For example, calcium in finger millet (ragi), when compared with paddy rice and wheat, is about 10x.

This book brings a collection of 18 Millet based recipes, with detailed instructions & easy to cook them at home for your loved ones!
