Connie Kreski: Playboy Playmate, Television and Film Actress

Connie Kreski was a beautiful Playboy Playmate from Wyandotte, Michigan who was discovered by a photographer at a University of Michigan football. She went on to win the 1968 Playmate of the Year and then moved into acting. She was involved romantically with famous actor James Caan during the years from 1972-1974. They broke up with him when he refused to marry her. From working class origins I have found found that Kreski's father worked for American Steel in the Detroit area. When Connie Kreski posed nude for Playboy and then displayed her naked body in an Anthony Newley movie, soon thereafter, it caused pain to her parents. This would have been true of most any young woman who bared all in the late 1960s-early 1970s. For a Polish Catholic girl from Michigan it was especially profound. My book has been researched from news clippings of interviews conducted with Connie and from books that describe various events in her life. I believe that readers will appreciate her as a warm person who was also a very uninhibited and beautiful individual.
