Would you like to learn how to do the SAME for your HORSE?
Are you no longer having fun with your horse? Are you thinking about (or have you already) given up riding?
If you have lost your confidence (or never really had any) around horses or when riding, you’re not alone. I know what it feels like because I have been there.
You can enjoy your horse again!
I have been where you are ... and I make my living training horses and coaching riders. So, when I lost my confidence several years ago, I absolutely had to figure out how to get it back. It wasn't always easy ... but it was well worth the time, energy and effort. I'm so glad I didn't give up and I encourage you not to either.
I had to find my way through the fear of getting on a horse after I was bucked off one of my own young horses. I know the physical symptoms - paralyzing panic, nausea, dizziness, shaking, etc. I know the mental games – procrastination, excuse making, rationalizing, the loss of self esteem. I also know from my own experience that it is possible to move through all that and once again enjoy horses and riding.
I wrote this book to help other horse lovers not only build their own confidence, but build a positive relationship with their horses at the same time.
You need to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Fear is not always spoken about in the horse world ... but it exists more than people admit. Lots of people try to cover it up with bravado - even aggression. They may fool some people; they may even fool themselves. But YOU CAN'T FOOL THE HORSES. Horses are geniuses are reading subtle body language - and when our actions and body language are not sending the same message, it causes a lot of confusion for our horses. A confused horse is not a safe horse.
The first part of the book is based on methods I used to regain my self confidence as I learned to manage my fear. It covers the mental aspects of fear – understanding it, respecting it and how to make it your friend rather than allowing it to run your life.
The second part of the book focuses on understanding and working safely with your horse from the ground and in the saddle. It will help you understand the horse's perspective ... and by applying that understanding to your interactions with your horse, you will improve your partnership.
It doesn’t matter what breed or age your horse is, what discipline you ride or what experience you have working with horses. The information is easy to understand and includes practical exercises you can do to earn your horse’s trust, respect and confidence.
I work with riders just like you whose fears and anxiety prey on them - and their horses. You know that if you're feeling scared, frustrated or anxious, you're passing those negative emotions on to your horse. You've probably wondered how it affects your horse. You want something better for both of you.
In order for things to improve, you're the one who has to change. Your horse will only change when you do.
I’ve been where you are and that’s why I've used my own experience of losing and regaining my confidence along with my years of expertise training horses and riders to write this ebook for you. It's ready for you to download right now.
