Jon Dufendach was born in Michigan in 1938 and grew up there and in Ohio. He first came to Alaska in 1962 with the Army and came to stay in 1967. He and his wife Carol worked a homestead and raised five children; Jon worked the pipeline and other endeavors and now builds drinking water plants for Alaskans and for the poor and needy around the world.
He felt his experiences with the Living Christ in practical ways would speak to the hearts of others who, like himself, hold the glorious Hope of an eternity with the Lord.
