Comfort – a short collection

"Comfort" weaves together the stories of three Korean Americans and the impact war and loss has had on each of them. This collection is about permission – allowing ourselves to delve into our the darkness and finding the seeds of illuminating truth. It’s about precious sons, and precious daughters, and understanding, and forgiveness. It’s about surviving and what it costs us. It's about reconnecting with who we are – reaching out across the river of sorrow and, together, building a bridge to a brighter future.
