In lessons 56-60 the preterite tense is continued as spelling changes and reflexive verbs in the preterite are considered. You’ll also look at a few more irregular verbs in the preterite tense using an identity quiz. The concept of the imperfect tense and the conjugation of regular -ar verbs in the imperfect will be introduced. You’ll also look at the remaining conjugations of the imperfect tense and consider the three verbs which are irregular in the imperfect. There is also a summary of each grammar topic covered. In later lessons you'll learn to cope with a variety of situations encountered while travelling in a Spanish-speaking area, and to recognise the patterns of the language, allowing you to say what you want to say.
