This is a story of a young man that came from the rural parts of the Dominican Republic. Due to having a childhood passion of military movies, he was willing to go and serve the US Army. During his time of his military service, The young soldier faced challenges of following orders being of his limit of understanding of English. The book has a sense of comedy at the same time very informative to reader giving the in-sites of history that occurred during the times of the Vietnam War.
