CHETX is a collection of on- and off-line applications designed to move information from one repository to another. This document discusses some common scenarios for CHETX's use and presents one or more CHETX processing configurations appropriate for the scenario. The emphasis in this document is on presenting and explaining the configurations; Book II contains a complete description of the mechanics of configuring CHETX. Example configurations in this book describe how CHETX can handle:
* "Foreign" XML produced by other organizations.
* Changes made to a relational database.
* "Unstructured" files such as JPEG images and word-processing files.
Each sample configuration includes a screenshot, taken from the CHETX configuration GUI, a discussion of the "whys" of the configuration, and details of special configuration options used in the configuration.
