Castaway Jack s a story of an 11 year old boy whose parents are divorced. His Mum lives in England and his Dad in Australia on his 11th birthday he is n his way to spend some time with his Dad when his plane doesn't make it. The reader then experiences all of Jacks new life with him. This is a survival story of a child suddenly having to rely on his own limited knowledge to survive.
The story is seen through Jacks eyes, his parents and eventually the BBC World service.
