Carol’s Gift

Carol is deaf and comes home for Christmas to be with her family. She attends the deaf school during the school year. Carol wants to go caroling with her older sister and her friends. Her sister, Lizzy, does not want her to go. “Who will hear you?” she demands. “Jesus,” Carol signs back. The story shows the love of two sisters and how understanding grows between them as Carol is allowed to share “her gift.”
