A puffer fish gets a little fat when a mean anglerfish threatens her after she accidently learns that the Anglerfish stole another fish's personal property. Everyone notices a change in the personality of the puffer. The puffer finally takes the necessary steps to keep herself and her friends safe.
It is appropriate for elementary school through high school. The play can be done with costumes or puppets. It is about 20 minutes long which leaves some time for discussion of the problem of bullying.
