BLOOD STAINED CROWN by Heather Turnbull
Buckingham Palace has been taken and the country has come to a halt. The year is 2019. A year that will change the country, forever. No more will the government dictate nor the Royal family cost. Now the fight for power is on and the little light that was left in England is extinguished.
Panic not though, for there is hope...there is always hope.
Food shortages become reality and disease strikes large numbers of the country, but in the toughest times, communities draw together, working alongside one other. It is in one of these communities that Olivia finds herself, after a time of danger and running. Her carers hide her as one of their own and life crawls forward. Paul, the leader of the takeover, battles to hold power and eventually, by the hand of one of his trusted leaders he falls. Meanwhile Olivia finds that she has a destiny to lead, that she has an inheritance to rule, and a responsibility to aid the country that she barely knows. A group of youths leave with Olivia, to discover the England that remains, and to begin to spread the light of hope. Through challenges and hardships this group grow close, many who are visited by them feel encouraged, and in one final battle where friends and foes unite, peace will be restored. It starts with death and darkness but ends with new life and hope.
