Each bird takes 1/8 ounce of colored #4 worsted weight colored yarn, for a total of 2 ounces of colored yarns (your choice). Blanket will take 16 ounces of white #4 worsted weight yarn. Each small fill-in square block takes ¼ ounces of #4 colored worsted weight yarn for a total of 2 ½ ounces. Each fill-in triangle block takes 1/8 ounce worsted weight yarn for a total of 1 ½ ounces of colored yarn. Great scrap project. Eyes for each bird: You can make birds with 1 eye, two eyes or embroidered eyes. (Total of thirty-two ¼” eyes or buttons for 2 eyed birds.)
